Monday Motivation

My to do list this morning was

  • Clear craft stuff off the dining table
  • Get pen pal letters ready to send
  • Make a new weekly spread in my journal

My motivation was that the room will look much nicer when my craft things are put away, and it will give me space to sit and write later.

My motivation for getting my letters ready is that the sooner they’re posted, the sooner they’re going to make someone smile.

My motivation for starting a new weekly spread is that it’s a calming process drawing the grid (I don’t have one of those posh journals with just dots in), and I have quite a busy week coming up and I need to organise myself on paper so I don’t stress in my head.

What’s your motivation today?

  1. Hi Marie-Celine!
Lovd this post and this bit in particular speaks volumes to me: “I need to organise myself on paper so I don’t stress in my head.” Yes, totally! Amen to that!
My motivation for today was to survive whatever comes my way while looking forward to being nice and cosy in bed again tonight!

  3. My motivation is to spend some time with hubby this evening. I’ve been ignoring him a bit with all the blog stuff, oops! That said, don’t think he is too bothered as he just bought a PS4…..

  4. Hi Marie-Celine! I’m a new follower and just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Kat. I loved this post! It’s so cool that you have pen pals. That sounds like a lot of fun! My motivations for today are to interact with some new bloggers and work on my writing. I look forward to reading more of your posts! Cheers!
