I wouldn’t normally share a photo on a Thursday, but the truth is I had nothing scheduled and no drafts to finish – I’m winging it again!
While being well prepared has it’s merits, sometimes you can be too well prepared and then things can get stale.
I chose this photo from several years ago, because it made me think of “putting a face on” or wearing a mask in other words.
Even though I said I wouldn’t, I have fallen into the trap of wearing my blogger face. I had developed blog “habits” rather than a healthy routine.
When I started this blog I said I was writing for myself, because I wanted to, and because I thought it was a good way of getting things off my chest.
Yesterday I made the decision to have a break from writing about Childhood Cancer and I am glad I made that choice. Then I looked at my draft posts, decided that none of them needed to be published and I scrapped the lot!
I usually schedule my posts for the morning but, as I said at the start of this post, I had nothing lined up for today so I just promised myself I would write something before the end of the day instead. I’ve flouted my own rules … because I can … because it is my blog!
Basically, what I want to say is that it doesn’t hurt to be a bit different now and then.
